One of the many benefits offered by the Healthcare Workers Compensation Fund is our Loss Control Consultant. This consultant is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional whose sole duty is to work with our members toward both loss prevention and loss control.

Reducing the frequency of workers’ comp injuries and the severity of any injury is accomplished through various means such as on-site safety systems evaluations, in-service classes and specific issues assistance.

Some of the classes taught include:

• Back Injury Prevention
• Violence in the Workplace
• General Safety Briefings
• OSHA Briefings
• Defensive Driving

Additionally the Loss Control Consultant will act as a liaison between the members and governmental or regulatory agencies.
